My Little Dancing Star

Ok, so I'm a little behind posting this, but I'm doing it to catch up a little. This past May Maddie performed in her first dance recital. She has been taking lessons at Gabrielle's here in Temple. She has loved getting dressed up in her cute little leotards with tutu's and going to practice for the big day! The last few weeks before the recital, parents were able to go into class to watch as silent audience. Well while in there watching her we figured she would not get out on the stage and perform. She would just stand there with her finger in her mouth, head down, and just stood there. Luckily we get to recital day and she surprised us all. She did a fabulous job and we were very proud of our dancing star.

Bad Week!

So this past week was not so good. Maddie had come home with her Nammy and Poppy from visiting her cousins in Fort Worth. They said she had been up coughing a lot the night before, well the night they got home her fever had started. It last for about 4 days! She looked like she was a zombie. Well, we finially went to the Doctors office and they had said that it was not pneuomonia quite yet, but had little pockets in her lungs that could have basically led into a full blown case if we wouldn't have seen him when we did. They put her on some strong anti-biotics and albuterol liquid. By Friday evening she was starting her act herself again. Which was good since we had plans to go back to Fort Worth to do some Wedding Dress Shopping! All in all Maddie is getting much better, still has the cough though!

Thanksgiving

OK. So I know I am a little behind, but better late than never. We went to visit Michelle and Michael in Fort Worth over Thanksgiving. We had a busy weekend filled with plays and Disney on Ice. Madison had a lot of fun hanging out with her cousins. We like to visit them when we can.

Train Ride's

Well this past weekend, we had gone to Stephenville to go to a Wedding for some of Sean's friends. We had gone and stayed with Sean's previous pastor Allan, which he lives outside of Stephenville. Well across from his front yard is a Horse Stable. We kept telling Maddie we would go see horses, but we never got a chance to. Instead, we went to Dublin after the wedding was over and went and rode on model trains. It was so awesome. I at first got tricked into riding it with Maddie. I was not happy, but it was so cool. Maddie rode for a few circles around the land. After it got dark, there was a huge cookout and the kids were playing in the old red caboose that also sits on the land. This place is so cool. The guys owns this land where he has tracks going throughout it, and has 2 red cabooses, a loft cabin that seriously you can't fit probably more than 4 people without running into each other. Well it ended up getting late so we had to leave and Maddie had so much fun, that she passed out in her carseat before we even got off the land. Sunday, we then went to Dublin on the way home to stop and pick some stuff up from Old Doc's Soda Shop. Well, we then remembered that she never got to see the horses. She was sitting and the childrens table with here hands on her face, so I asked what's wrong and she said " I'm just thinking how I didn't get to ride the horses." It was so cute!! Well, we then were sitting and waiting on Sean to finish what he was doing and she said" Mom do you know what boys ride?" " I said no, what do they ride?" " She said, boys ride bucking bulls!" What 3 year old knows that???
